Dwi needs microphone access for conversations and the Pronunciation Lab. On your iPhone, open Settings, scroll down to Dwi, and switch Microphone on. Then close Dwi completely and open it again.

Find a quiet spot, hold your phone a little closer, and speak at a normal pace. Headphones with a built-in mic often help in noisy places. If one word keeps failing, try it in the Pronunciation Lab first: the tip there tells you which sound to work on.

Dwi is free to download and free to start. Some features need a subscription; the price is always shown in the app before you pay, and Apple handles the payment.

Subscriptions bought through the App Store are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Dwi. To restore Dwi Plus on a new or reinstalled iPhone, make sure you're using the same Apple ID, open the Dwi Plus screen and tap Restore. You can also see Apple's guide at support.apple.com.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Dwi is coming soon to iPhone on the App Store. We'd love to bring it to more places; tell us where you'd like to use it.

Thank you for catching it! Darija varies from city to city, and AI can make mistakes. Email us with a screenshot and what you expected, and we'll look into it.

Not on our servers. When you speak, your recording is sent to our servers to be transcribed, scored and answered, and then it's discarded. If you turn on Save recordings, your recordings are kept on your iPhone only, and you can remove them with Delete my recordings. Conversations run on Claude, an AI model by Anthropic, through Amazon Bedrock, and only after you've given permission. If you don't, Dwi scores your pronunciation on your iPhone instead. We never sell your data, and there are no ads or tracking. Read the details in our Privacy Policy.

In Dwi, go to Me › Settings › Privacy & data:

• Delete my recordings removes the recordings saved on your iPhone.
• Export my data gives you a copy of your data.
• Delete account permanently erases your account and all of its data, including your progress and conversation transcripts.

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription, because Apple handles billing. Cancel it in your iPhone's Settings too. If you can't get into the app, email support@thelooplabs.app from the address linked to your account and we'll help.
